Washington University in St. Louis is one of the latest schools to make a video in support of the You Can Play Project. The private research university is located in St. Louis, MO, and was founded in 1853. Their faculty and student body is comprised of individuals from all 50 states and over 120 countries. They are a division III member of the NCAA and offer 17 varsity sports.
WUSTL promotes inclusion and diversity, and recruit students independent of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. “Washington University is an inclusive community,” say’s Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Lori White. “If you can play, you can play regardless of gender, regardless of race, gender identity, and gender expression. We want this to be an inclusive community for all of our coaches, fans, community members, and anyone who participates in sports here.”
