The Omaha Lancers go into this Friday night’s Star Wars Night ranked No. 1 in the Western Conference of the United States Hockey League.
Founded in 1986, the Lancers are a Tier 1 junior ice hockey team. In their 28th USHL season, the Lancers become the first USHL team to join the You Can Play team and the first team in Nebraska to participate.
The Lancers have claimed a league-record seven Clark Cup championships as USHL playoff champions, five Anderson Cup titles as regular season USHL champs and two USA Hockey national championships. Hundreds of NCAA and NHL players have made the Lancers a first stop on the way to successful careers.
