The Chicago Fire of the MLS have made a video in support of the You Can Play Project. The fire, winners of the 1998 MLS cup, as well as multiple U.S. Open Cups (2000, 2003, and 2006), are all about respect: for teammates, fans, and the game, no matter who you are, or where you’re from.
The Fire are based out of Bridgeview, Illinois and compete in the Eastern Conference of the MLS. They were named after the great Chicago fire of 1871. In support of equality in athletics, the Fire encourages athletes, teammates, and fans to “Be an Ally” of all athletes regardless of race, religion, or sexual preference.
