You Can Play - Byfuglien, Glass, Kesler

Dustin Byfuglien, Tanner Glass and Ryan Kesler all share a goal: ending casual homophobia in sports and making locker rooms and arenas comfortable for athletes and fans alike.

Kesler, a Livonia, MI native, is an Olympic silver medalist and winner of the 2011 Selke Trophy for his play with the Vancouver Canucks.

Glass, a native of Regina, Saskatchewan and a former Dartmouth College captain, just finished a career best season for the Winnipeg Jets with 16 points.

And, Minneapolis-born Winnipeg Jets alternate captain Byfuglien won the 2010 Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Together, Dustin, Tanner and Ryan represent the best in their sport, speaking for respect and equality for all athletes – gay or straight – and the You Can Play Project is grateful for their support.
