Located in Garden City, N.Y., Adelphi University is a Division II institution in the Northeast-10 Conference with 23 varsity sports. At Adelphi, we're all Panthers – no matter where we come from, what sport we play, or who and how we love. In 2018, Adelphi athletics was awarded a Gold Medallion by LGBT SportSafe for its efforts in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, and joins You Can Play in working for equality for all in sports, including LGBTQ athletes, coaches and fans.

You Can Play - University of Toronto

With World Pride as a backdrop, You Can Play welcomes the University of Toronto to the team.  The Varsity Blues join you can play in promoting diversity and inclusion for all athletes, coaches and fans including gay, lesbian and transgender athletes.

The Varsity Blues program includes 43 teams and traces its roots to 1877 with the formation of the men’s football team.  The Varsity Blues field teams in sports as diverse as hockey and rugby to lacrosse and mountain biking.

Founded by royal charter in 1827 as King’s College, the public research university became the University of Toronto in 1850 when control moved from the Church of England.  The university is comprised of 12 colleges.
