You Can Play - Rob Bagg

Rob Bagg of the Saskatchewan Roughriders has made a video in support of the You Can Play Project. Rob is the official ambassador for the Roughriders in the 2015 season in their partnership with the You Can Play Project and the CFL. In this video Rob discusses how “Everyone should have the same opportunities regardless of nationality, race, or who they love.” Bagg goes on to say “love your neighbor and just treat people with respect. Everyone should have an opportunity: a fair opportunity.”

You Can Play - Marco Iannuzzi

Marco Iannuzzi of the BC Lions made this video for the You Can Play Project. In this video Iannuzzi stresses that “In order to respect the game you have to respect your teammates: all of them. No matter race, religion, or sexual orientation. It’s all about coming together to win.”

You Can Play - Kyries Hebert

Montreal Alouettes linebacker Kyries Hebert has made a video for the You Can Play Project. In this video Hebert notes that “In order to respect the game you have to respect everyone: the coaches, teammates, and fans. It’s all about dignity and coming together to win. Athletes should be known for their skills, work ethics, and love for their sports, regardless of their sexual orientation.”

You Can Play - Brian Bulcke

Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive lineman Brian Bulcke made a video for the You Can Play Project. Bulcke is the 2015 ambassador for the tiger-cats for You Can Play and the CFL. In this video Bulcke asks for you to join him in “proudly supporting our LGBT athletes and make sports accesible to everyone.”
 

You Can Play - Zander Robinson

Zander Robinson of the Toronto Argonauts has made a video for the You Can Play Project. Robinson is the 2015 Argonauts ambassador for the CFL and the You Can Play Project. In this video Robinson discusses what he values in his teammates. Robinson goes on to say “If a person came out as gay it has absolutely no impact on my life or the way that anybody else in the locker room would act around them…to each their own, whatever makes you happy, and if coming out and being gay is who you are, then that’s what you need to do.” 

You Can Play - Mike Reilly

Mike Reilly of the Edmonton Eskimos has made a video for the You Can Play Project. Reilly is the Eskimos 2015 ambassador for the CFL and the You Can Play Project. In this video Reilly states “Sports should be inclusive of everyone. We can’t do this important work alone. The time has come to end discrimination.”

You Can Play - Teague Sherman

Teague Sherman of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers has created a video in support of the You Can Play Project. In this video Sherman discusses how the Blue Bombers as well as the CFL, are “dedicated to insure equality, safety, and respect, for all athletes: no matter your sexual orientation.” Teague is the Blue Bomber’s ambassador for the CFL and the You Can Play Project for the 2015 season.

You Can Play - Brad Sinopoli

Brad Sinopoli of the Ottawa Redblacks has made a video for the You Can Play Project. Brad is the official ambassador for the Redblacks in the 2015 season in their partnership with the You Can Play Project and the CFL. In this video Brad discusses how “You can play works to guarantee that athletes are given a fair opportunity to compete.” 

You Can Play - Jon Cornish

This year Jon Cornish broke his own Canadian rushing record with a Canadian Football League high of 1813 yards, on top of 2157 yards from scrimmage and 14 touchdowns.

After a year that saw him named the CFL’s outstanding player, Cornish has won the Lou Marsh Memorial Trophy – he’s Canada’s top athlete. It’s been 44 years since a CFL player was named Canada’s best athlete.

Cornish is a native of New Westminster, BC and an alumnus of the University of Kansas.
