Toronto FC

Toronto FC becomes the first Canadian soccer team to speak on behalf of LGBT athletes and the You Can Play Project. A 2007 Major League Soccer expansion team, Toronto FC this year won its fourth consecutive Amway Canadian Championship.

The team's multi-cultural make-up mirrors that of its city and the sport it represents. Toronto FC is represented in this video by staff and players speaking a worldwide variety of languages. In order of appearance: Torsten Frings (German), Eric Hassli (French), Richard Eckersley (English), Darren O'Dea (English), Milos Kocic (Serbian), Stefan Frei (Swiss/German), head coach Paul Mariner (English), academy director Thomas Rongen (Dutch) and Luis Silva (Spanish).
