After joining the You Can Play Team in a groundbreaking way in 2013, the Ohio State Buckeyes reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring equality, respect and safety for all athletes, without regard to sexual orientation in early 2014.

In early 2013, the Buckeyes' hockey team hosted the NCAA's first Division 1 "Pride Night" February 1 in support of Ohio's LGBT community February 1, and debuted their You Can Play video in-game. In 2014, the Columbus-based school which has been a perennial powerhouse in sports with a 50-year history of hockey and more than a dozen OSU alumni are playing in the NHL and affiliated leagues held a second Pride Night.

You Can Play is proud to count the Buckeyes among the most vocal supporters of LGBT athletes.
