The San Francisco Bulls become the first team in the ECHL to participate in the You Can Play Project to erase homophobia and the first ECHL crew to host a night recognizing LGBT diversity.

“We’re very supportive of You Can Play and what is stands for,” said Bulls goaltender Taylor Nelson. “If you have the desire to play sports, no matter who you are, you should be given a fair shot. We stand behind this effort 100 per cent.”

Appearing in the video are Taylor Nelson, Hans Benson, Thomas Heemskerk, Sebastian Trudeau, Dean Ouellet, Jordan Clendenning, Kris Belan, Scott Langdon, Jordan Morrison, athletic trainer Osama Kassab, President and Head Coach Pat Curcio and Asst. Coach Kyle Paige.

The Bulls are in their inaugural season, and play in Daly City's legendary Cow Palace.  The Bulls are the affiliate team of the AHL's Worcester Sharks and the NHL's San Jose Sharks.
